^Lot 1412 Winchester Model 62 .22 S/L/LR #3572

Vintage pump action rifle manufactured circa 1932. (First year of production) Features blued finish, straight gripped wood stock, grooved pump handle, factory buttplate, 23" barrel, blade/white bead front, rear sight removed and two scope bases installed on barrel, magazine tube under barrel, exposed hammer, takedown screw on left side of receiver. Vintage Lyman 2A WS adjustable peep sight installed on tang. Bore is excellent/bright. Retains about 40% blue on the barrel with the rest turned a brown color with scattered light patina. Wood is overall good condition/sound with minor scratches/dings and a little finish loss on the lower buttstock. There is very nice hand checkering on the wrist with the name "Paul Middlested" carved in a panel on the lower left wrist. Serial number on lower tang matches receiver.
