^Lot 1372 H. Schmidt / Hawes Model 21 S .22 LR #559544

West German made 5.5", .22 LR single action pistol manufactured circa 1972. Imported by Hawes Firearm Co. Los Angels, CA, as marked on the left side of the barrel. The right side of the barrel is marked “H. SCHMIDT, OSTHEIM/RHOEN MADE IN W. GERMANY,” and the top marked "HS MODEL 21 S." The left side of the frame is marked “HS 72." It features a blade front sight, a dovetailed rear sight, six shot fluted cylinder, smooth curved trigger, radius crown, passive firing pin, serrated hammer spur, two piece plastic checkered grips with buffaloes on both sides and "Made in Germany" on the bottom of the right grip. It seems to be in good working condition, but there is scattered rust throughout. Bore is bright with strong rifling.
