^Lot 1232 Marlin Model 98 .22 LR

Rare Marlin Model 98 semi-automatic .22 caliber rifle made from 1957 to 1959. There were 9,061 of them made during the production run. 22" micro-groove barrel with raised blade/brass bead front, adjustable rear sporting sights. 15-rd tube magazine in butt stock, thumb safety, serrated trigger, black plastic triggerguard. One piece walnut stock with right-hand cheek rest, factory steel buttplate with white spacer. receiver grooved for optics. Bore is very good/bright, action is smooth, the wood is very good/sound with a few minor scratches and the blue is about 505 with handling wear on the barrel. These rifles don't come up very often.
