^Lot 1061 Ishapore / Fed Ord No 1 Mk III* .303 Brit #24865

This is an Ishapure ShtLE III* Lee Enfield pattern bolt-action rifle imported by Federal Ordnance Inc of South El Monte, CA . The rifle maintains approximately 85% of its original finish with no pitting from oxidation. The receiver is GRI stamped with a BSA (British Small Arms Co.) bolt. The stock is complete with minor hairlines at the brass buttplate. There is some water damage behind the stock collar (marked Fed. Ord. Inc. So El Monte, Ca) that has softened. Forward of the there is evidence of rubbing through the finish during storage, that while going through the finish, has not damaged the wood. There are minor small depressions and minor hairline cracks at the rear of the upper handguard. The rifle does bear appropriate GRI stampings on various components and features an appropriate stock disk. As this is a surplus assembled rifle, parts do not have matching numbers and may come from various models. This rifle includes One (1) magazine. The rifle is in good functioning order and is maintained by a heavy coating of packing grease, and the bore remains packed.
