^Lot 1060 Carl Gustafs / CAI M96 6.5x55mm Swedish #11480

This is a Swedish M96 Mauser bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5x55. the rifle was manufactured at the Carl Gustafs Stad factory before import though CAI (stamped behind muzzle). The rifle is complete and functional with crisp clear stampings and matching numbers. The rifle maintains approximately 80% of its finish, showing signs of wear across the rifle, with some light scratching and indentations on smaller components such as the butt plate and sling swivels. The stock is in good condition, showing age and use through light depressions and two small dents forward of the rear sight in the top handguard. No cracks or damage are present in the wood. The stock is missing the bore condition stock disk, but has an original and correctly inverted, intact range card installed on the right side of the stock. The rifle is currently still filled with packing grease.
