U.S. made, Canadian military bolt action rifle dated 1941. Features original finished metal, two piece straight gripped stock with full length handguards, brass buttplate with trapdoor, 25" barrel, bayonet lug, smooth curved trigger, stripper clip guide, protected blade front sight, rear peep sight with flip-up elevation ladder, sling swivels, detachable 10 round magazine, manual safety. Receiver dated '1941', 'No4 MKI', and 'Long Branch'. Bore is full of cosmoline and condition can't be determined, wood very good with handling wear, and metal retains 20-30% of its original finish. Numbers on receiver and magazine do not match, rear barrel band Reads 'GEW', front barrel band is stamped '5'.
