US Military WWII era bolt action rifle manufactured circa 1943. Features parkerized finish, wood handguard & straight grip stock, blade front sight, peep rear sight, bayonet lug, 24" barrel, three position safety, magazine cut-off, sling swivels, stacking swivel. Bands are blued. Stamped trigger guard. Bore is very good condition. Retains 95% of the parkerized finish with handling marks. Barrel marked "RA / (flaming bomb) / 4-43". Wood is very good condition, with small dents and other evidence of service use, appears sanded with partial loss of cartouches. Proper military finish retained on wood. Visible stock cartouches include: "FJA", "P" proof, crossed cannons cartouche.
