^Lot 923 Winchester 1905 SL .32 cal #10708

Vintage blow-back operated, semi-auto, self-loading, take-down, rifle, produced 1905-1920. This one made in 1905, first year of production. 22" barrel with front blade/bead, and adjustable sporting rear sights. Charged by plunger in forearm, Fed from detachable 5 rd magazine (Included). Matching serial numbers. Winchester barrel, & tang markings are crisp/clear, bore is very good/bright, with strong rifling, some light frosting in the grooves. Nicely grained wood is overall good/sound with minor scratches/dings, there are a couple of hairline cracks in the right forerarm, Winchester plastic buttplate. Blue finish is about 60% with handling loss, mostly on the receiver. Action is smooth/tight. The left side of the receiver has been drilled/tapped for side mounted optics rail, no filler screws.
