SN: 6089F. Vintage Baker Gun Go. Batavia Leader Sidelock Double Shotgun. Made by Baker Gun Co., Batavia, N.Y. circa 1920's. Considered to be one of Americas classic shotguns. 28" barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, brass sighting bead, low profile rib, double triggers, sliding tang safety, blue barrels, case colored action, top lever. American walnut checkered forearm and pistol grip buttstock with horn grip cap and vented Western Field recoil pad. Chokes measure Cyl-left, IM-Right. LOP-15 1/4"to front trigger. Bores are very good, barrels lock-up tight, wood is overall very good/sound with the exception of a slight hairline crack in the top of the forearm, the action is mostly in the white with traces of case colors and the barrels have turned mostly a gray/brown patina with blue in protected areas. comes with a vintage pair of brass 20 gauge inserts.
