^Lot 857 J.P. Sauer & Sohn 38H 7.65mm SN: 510307

The Sauer 38H was produced 1938-45. The second version says only "CAL 7.65" on the left slide, no waffenamts or proofs. 3 1/4" barrel, fixed u-notch sights, blued frame and gray finished slide, push button mag release, safety, cocker/decocker on left frame, take-down latch inside triggerguard, checkered bakelite grips with "SUS" motif in the left panel. bore is excellent/bright, action is smooth, grips are very good and the finish is about 80% with minor scratches/edge wear and handling wear on the straps.
