#nn257363. "H&R 1871 Handi-Rifle" refers to the modern line of single-shot rifles produced by New England Firearms after the original H&R went out of business. Modular break-open single-shot rifle with a .44 magnum chambered barrel. Features a blued finish, 22" medium-contour barrel with recessed crown with blade/bead front and Skinner brass plated rear peep sights, smooth trigger, knurled hammer extension, schnabel wood forend and semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with factory recoil pad, right side of stock has inletted brass disk reading "H&R 1871 Limited Edition". Rifle retains approximately 95% of its blued finish showing scattered handling marks/scratches. Barrel locks-up tight, the bore is excellent, wood stocks are very good/sound with some handling loss to the finish..
