^Lot 810a Marlin 39 'Century Limited' .22 S/L/LR #7327

Marlin Firearms Co. made Limited edition commemorative rifle manufactured in North Haven, CT. Featuring a blued finish, 20" "JM" marked octagon barrel, full-length tube magazine, blade with brass bead front sight, adjustable sporter rear sight, drilled & tapped receiver, installed hammer extension, smooth curved gold colored trigger, take-down receiver with with Marlin centennial seal type embellishment on the right side, smooth wood forend with bass cap and straight grip shoulder stock with tacked bass plaque in the right side & brass crescent buttplate. Smooth action, and excellent bore. The blued finish is about 98% with the metal showing a spot of rust on the trigger guard area of the lever, and there is wear/scratches on the face of the trigger. Buttstock and handguard have very minimal handling marks. Manufactured circa 1970.
