Lot 800 International Harvester M1 Garand .30-06

#4658476 US military semi-automatic rifle, manufactured circa 1953. The workhorse rifle of the US military in WWII and beyond, this example made during the Korean War. Features parkerized finish, walnut stock & hand guards, 24" barrel, adjustable sights with protected front blade & protected rear peep, fixed magazine for en-bloc clip, manual safety. Trigger guard has the later stamped style guard. Barrel marked "LMR D6535448 5 54 A33". Bolt marked "IHC". Rear sight marked "IHC DRC". "IHC" observed on hammer, trigger housing. Bore retains bright appearance with some frosting throughout. Various metal parts show different shades of dark, almost black parkerized finish, 95% coverage of arsenal refinish. The wood is very good with typical handling marks, scratches and gouges, "P" in box on bottom of wrist. Rck number "7" decal on right butt. Includes a CMP COA for the receiver.
