Manufactured by J.G. Anschutz GmbH Ulm in West Germany, and imported by LCL Scottsdale, AZ. This 1730 rifle is chambered in .22 Hornet. The barrel length is approximately 23.5", its overall length is approximately 44". It features a blued finish, a threaded muzzle with radial muzzle brake, detachable magazine, a sling swivel stud in the front, a sling swivel in the rear, curved serrated trigger, no front sight, removed rear sight, a lever safety on the bolt, a straight bolt handle, a serrated plastic buttplate, a hardwood stock with a schnabel forend and monte carlo cheek piece. There is checkering on the forend and around the semi-pistol grip wrist area with an inlet white diamond in the grip. The bluing condition is approximately 98% with the metal showing a few small handling marks along the barrel, and a small spot of rust. The stock condition is fair with heavy handling marks along the bottom of the forend, and the rear of the buttstock. The bore is bright with strong rifling. It comes with scope rings, and a Nikko Sterling 1.5x-6x44 scope with a duplex reticle. Manufactured circa 2006.
