Italian made copy of the British 'Brown Bess' Flint-lock Musket. The standard Infantry rifle of British forces during the American Revolution. Features stainless steel finish, 42" tapered, smooth bore barrel. Front steel stud sight, which doubles as a bayonet lug. Brass hardware, oil-stained walnut stock. Steel barrel ramrod, and lock. Lock plate marked "Grice 1762" with Crown over "GP". Overall Brass escutcheon on left stock. Brass plate behind tang, brass butt plate, sling swivels, Italian proofs on barrels. 58" overall. Bore is very good, slightly dirty. Two cock hammer locks up tight. Retains approx. 95% finish with some light rust spots on brass parts, especially by the ramrod, small scratches and handling marks. Wood is very good with a few small dents and scuffs on the stock. Comes with original factory box. NRA Condition is Good++. ***Antique firearm***.
