Titled "Willow Lake Colors", signed lower right corner. Measures 11" x 14" in black frame. Slayton tries to bring his bravura brushwork and colorful interpretations to each canvas. His images are filled with light and color harmonies. Slayton's art education includes the University of Arizona, Tucson; Escuela de los Artes, Universidad de Madrid, Spain; UCLA Art Center, Los Angeles; Scottsdale Artists School, and California Art Institute. He has had paintings hanging in the West Wing of the White House, and is an exhibiting artist with the Art in Embassies Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
