'The .357 Magnum' Large frame double action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, manufactured circa 1964
-1965. Features a bright nickel plated finish, pinned 5" barrel with tapered profile & knurled sighting rib, raised front sight with orange insert, adjustable micrometer click rear sight with white post, fluted six-shot cylinder with counterbored chambers, shrouded ejector rod, serrated .500" target trigger, .500" semi-target hammer, three screw square butt N target frame with knurled top strap and two-piece checkered Goncalo Alves target grips with silver S&W medallions. Revolver retains nearly all of it's original nickel finish showing minimal handling marks and a faint drag line on the cylinder. Action is smooth with tight lock-up, the bore appears pristine with a waxy residue near the muzzle and the wood grips are fine.
