High quality American made bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .458 Winchester Magnum, manufactured circa 1978. Features a high polished blued finish, 24" heavy barrel, raised blade front top with brass bead, raised flip-up adjustable rear sight, integral scope base cuts in the receiver, smooth curved adjustable trigger, sliding tang safety, polished Mauser style bolt, internal three round box magazine with hinged steel floorplate, steel triggerguard, and hand checkered Circassian walnut semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with two swivel studs, factory grip cap & red rubber recoil pad. Rifle exhibits approximately 97%+ of it's original high polished blued finish showing very little wear towards the muzzle. Metal has some spotty rust on the magazine floorplate, trigger guard, bolt release, a spot in front of the rear sight, and two small spots toward the receiver end of the barrel. Action is smooth, the bore is bright with good rifling. The wood stock is good with some scratches on the left side of the buttstock and under the left side of the receiver rail, some marks on the pistol grip and right side of the stock, with minor handling marks towards the forend. It comes with Ruger scope rings fitted with a fixed power Monoscope, and fine reticle. Scope markings are concealed under the rear scope ring.
