^Lot 693a Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 35 '22/32' .22 LR #23161

American made Smith & Wesson 6" double action .22 LR revolver, manufactured between 1953-1957. Built on an improved 'I' frame with three side plate screws, hammer safety block, coil mainspring, partridge front sight, micrometer adjustable rear sight, two piece wooden checkered grips with S&W medallions, short underlug, pinned barrel, fluted cylinder, checkered hammer spur, passive firing pin, added wide curved serrated trigger shoe, smooth backstrap, and smooth forestrap. The grips are later production grips without the diamond around the screw. Finish condition is about 98% with the lightest normal handling wear. The bore is excellent, and the cylinder also looks great. The grips are excellent.
