Model 70 "Featherweight" Pre-64, manufactured in 1952. 22" round, tapered barrel with ramped, hooded, post/bead front and flip u-notch, "white diamond" rear sights. Mauser style action. Anodized matte-black receiver, EGW multi-slot one piece scope rail installed. Blued barrel, and trigger assembly, 3-position manual safety, hinged floorplate,serrated trigger. Checkered high comb pistol grip stock with sling swivels. Pachmayr White-Line recoil pad. Wood is very good with minor scratches. Bore appears excellent/bright. Action is smooth/tight. Markings are crisp/clear. Winchester proofs on receiver/barrel. Blue is about 85% with very minor scratches, edge wear, handling wear on the bolt knob. A very nice pre-64 Model 70 in a very desirable caliber.
