^Lot 460 Walther/TG P-38 9mm SN: 1374k

German semi-automatic pistol. 8 rd Magazine. Third Reich era military issued sidearm. 4.9" barrel. Short recoil, hinged locking piece assisted breechblock. "ac 42" marked on slide. All matching serial numbers including the locking block. Waffenamts Eagle/359. All stampings are crisp/clear. Imported by "TG Knox. TN 9mm Germany" marked on the underside of the slide. (Slide has to be removed to see it). Bore is overall good/bright, strong rifling, light frosting in the grooves. Bakelite grips are very good. Original blued finish is about 98% with some very minor scratches, edge wear. Original magazine with Walther banner. Comes in original soft shell black leather holster marked "bla" 1944 ( EG Leuner, Bautzen) waffenamt eagle/WaW159 and large "P-38", with spare magazine marked "jvd" ( Erste Nordbohmische MetallFabrik ). A very nice set.
