^Lot 456 German WW2 Stag Handled Dress Bayonet

Desirable maker Eickhorn. 7 7/8" shorter blade for NCO's and Officers, stepped end variety. Nickel alloy 'Birds head pommel and upswept hand guard. Stamped on the ricasso with the 1942 style Carl Eickhorn squirrel makers mark. The leather blade buffer pad is missing. Blade is very good/bright with some minor scratches, black paint on scabbard is about 80% with scuffs, the brown leather frig is scuffed with a tear on the hole for the scabbard stud. the fitting have a aged patina for storage. Stag grips are excellent.
