Lot 374 Winchester M59 'Win-Lite' 12 Ga #17813

The Winchester M 59 is an American made semi-automatic shotgun using a short recoil action made between 1959 and 1965. It features a Win-Lite glass fiber barrel which is made of some 500 miles of glass fiber tubes wound around, fused and bonded to a thin steel liner. The blued barrel is 30", has a steel bead front sight, is chambered for 2.3/4" 12gauge shells and has a fixed full choke. The shotgun receiver is made out of a lightweight aluminum and has hand-finished and hand-checkered walnut stocks, vented Pachmayr recoil pad with black/white spacers. The receiver is engraved with ducks on the right and a dog and pheasant on the left. Aluminum alloy triggerguard. Lop 14". Bore is excellent/bright. blue is about 945 with edge wear, minor scratches. Wood stocks are overall very good with minor scratches/dings, there is a slight hairline crack in the lower right forearm.
