45 2 1/10 cal (45-70 cal) #249. Marked in professional stamp C. M. McKay, possibly dealer, agent or buffalo hunter. Light gray patina with minor rust and aging. At the least, very good, with just minor aging. Cavity is fine. Some minor nicks, mars and pings. "Bob" Butterfield Collection.
