Lot 223 Savage Model 99 'F' .300 Sav #769141

Vintage lever action repeating rifle chambered in .300 Savage, manufactured circa 1955. "F" for "Featherweight," indicating a lighter model with a thinner barrel. Features a blued finish, 22" tapered barrel, ramped blade front sight with bead top, elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sporting sight, installed vintage Lyman All-American 2 1/2 scope, post reticle, clear optics, internal rotary magazine with brass spool/round counter, jeweled bolt, cocked indicator on the upper tang, serrated trigger, case hardened curved finger lever, sliding safety on the lower tang, swivel studs, checkered walnut forend and pistol grip shoulder stock with plastic grip cap & serrated metal buttplate. Rifle exhibits approximately 90% of it's original blued finish showing showing a few scattered handling marks, minor scratches and some edge wear, case colors about 50%. Action is smooth, the bore is excellent and the wood stocks are overall very good with minor scratches/dings.
