Stunning controlled-round-feed- bolt action sporting rifle chambered in .300 Holland & Holland Magnum. Custom built utilizing a WWI era Pattern 14 receiver, with the stock & bottom metal attributed to the late master gunsmith Jerry Fisher. Features a satin blued finish, 26” round tapered barrel with soldered sling stud, fully-banded Tom Burgess style retractable front sight, two-piece scope base with Tom Burgess style folding peep sight on the rear base, jeweled bolt with pear shaped knob, three-position safety on the rear of the bolt, smooth curved trigger, drop box magazine, hinged floorplate with in-the-bow release, and finely point-pattern checkered magnum style figured walnut stock with contrasting wood forend tip, trapdoor metal pistol grip cap, beaded right handed cheek rest, inlet sling stud, red recoil pad & 14 3/8” LOP. Rifle retains approximately 95% of its blued finish showing thinning on the bottom metal with very little wear observed elsewhere. The action is mechanically sound, the bore is excellent, and the custom walnut stock is excellent with minor handling marks.
