^Lot 136a Pietro Beretta Silver Snipe 20 GA #11655

Pietro Beretta Over/Under shotgun made in Italy, imported by Beretta in Gardone, VT. Manufactured circa1964. It features two approximately 27 7/8" blued round barrels with vent rib, steel bead front sight, fixed Mod over Improved Cyl chokes, and 3" chambers. Shotgun features coin finished receiver with Beretta logos, a gold tone single trigger, plum colored top lever, one piece extractor, tang safety, inertial hammers, sling swivel on barrel via barrel band and one on the buttstock, checkered wood forend, wood butt with checkered curved semi-pistol grip, factory checkered plastic buttplate, black plastic grip cap with shell design, inletted blued snipe in flight inletted on the underside of forearm. Bores are excellent/bright. Retains about 96% blue finish with some patina under the forend and a small mark on the trigger guard. Coin finish is excellent at approximately 99%. Wood is overall very good condition, showing evidence of handling with some minor scratches, and some heavier marks around the tang. Approximate 14" Length of Pull.
