Lot 87a Merwin & Hulbert Single Action Revolver .44 S&W

#3807 Has early scoop flutes and mottled red gutta percha grips, along with B. Kittredge & Co. (Ohio dealer) style attachable shoulder stock of same era. The pistol heavily used and shortened to 5 1/4" from 7 1/2" bbl. Light to moderate pitting with just traces of nickel remaining. Action does not work (no spring). Markings not visible and grips show large chips and losses. Screws and small parts missing. Fair to poor overall. The stock matches well and definitely usable with this pistol. An interesting "old western frontier" ensemble. Condition is NRA Fair
