#jw-d20 '1 Of 90' Silver Plated, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Colt John Wayne Deluxe Commemorative Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Advertising indicated that 500 of these revolvers were manufactured in 1982, however, only 90 were actually sold with a $10,000 price tag. The revolver shows flourishes of factory floral scroll engraving along with various gold inlaid John Wayne motifs including his bust on one side of the cylinder, him on horseback on the other, the left barrel with the American eagle with a banner with "John Wayne" the left rear of the frame has a gold SAA in holster and the loading gate has a gold pair of spurs and Wayne's signature engraved in the back strap. Ebony one piece grips, left panel has a scrimshawed "Colt" ivory inset. Comes with the original Colt wood grain box with matching label, owners manual and paperwork and the oak presentation case with John Wayne’s signature on the cover. The case rates excellent with a few minor handling marks. The interior of the case is form fitted for the revolver and red suede lined with a small square cut for a plaque that reads "Colt John Wayne Commemorative" with siloette of the Duke and Rampant Colt .The case has a surface mounted brass lock (key provided), and brass carry handles on the sides. Revolver is in like new condition, appears unfired.
