Two hunters will travel to Kodiak Island, Alaska for a 7-day hunt of a lifetime. This 7-day fully guided Sitka Blacktail Deer Hunt for two hunters with one guide is donated by The Perrins Rainy Pass Lodge / Kodiak Safaris. The 7-days include the fly-in and out days. Hunt is scheduled for available dates in November of 2027, only. No alternate dates are available. Outfitter asks that you book the hunt as soon as possible after the convention. The Perrins Rainy Pass Lodge is Alaska's premier hunting destination, and the lodge has been in operation for over 85 years. To mark its seventy-fifth year of operation, Rainy Pass Lodge received a commemoration from the State of Alaska as the oldest hunting and Recreation lodge in Alaska! The Perrins have been hunting Kodiak since 1981 for a combination of Brown Bear, Deer, and Mt. Goat. Steve Perrins Master Guide #123 was named SCI’s 2022 North American Hunter of the year. Registered Guide Steve II and his wife Carly are now in transition alongside Steve and Denise to continue the next generation for Rainy Pass Lodge. The Perrins Family will personally serve as hosts to the lucky winner of this package. The hunt takes place in unit 8 on Kodiak Island. Hunters are allowed to harvest 1 buck per hunter. Not included are charter flights (currently $1500 per person round trip) gratuities, license & tag and taxidermy. Hunting is done by foot out of one of two cabins.
