Handmade Ohrid pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet, all with a famous Macedonian watermark. These pearls are made from the scales of an endemic fish found only in Lake Ohrid - each set includes one big pearl in each of the components (earrings, necklace, bracelet); the rest of each set is made from accessories on a fishing line. The process of making these pearls is over 100 year old and trademarked by only two families in the region who have carried on the tradition. Lake Ohrid is one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes and it was declared a World Heritage Site in 1979, making this beautiful set a true treasure to behold.
