Lot 101SD 5-day New Zealand Himalayan Tahr Hunt for One Hunter and One Non-Hunter
One hunter and one non-hunter (Sharing) will embark on a 5-day/4-night, 1x1 guided, Himalayan Bull Tahr hunt donated by Rangitata High Country Hunting.
This hunt is conducted on Rangitata’s own private land, which is specifically managed for game and which consistently produces very high quality trophy tahr.
Access to the hunting areas is by 4x4 vehicle; no helicopter is required for this hunt.
All hunts are spot, and stalk and method of take is rifle or bow.
The lodge is set in the foothills of New Zealand’s Southern Alps, high above the valley floor with uninterrupted views of the Rangitata River and the surrounding mountain peaks.
This is alpine hunting camp luxury, warm comfortable rooms with delicious cuisine provided each day by the in-house high country chef.
Uniquely this adventure starts right from the lodge, the minute you put your boots on and walk out the front door!
This hunt is available between March - July 2026 or 2027.
This hunt may be upgraded to include additional species at current price list, see outfitter.
Additional hunters ($11,500) and non-hunters ($2000) are welcome at current rates.
Hunt can be extended for $1,250/day.

lodge accommodations, meals, 1x1 guide service, trophy fees for one Tahr, field prep, round-trip transportation between Rangitata Lodge and Christchurch city.
Not included:
before/after travel expenses, dip/pack/shipping and gratuities.
