Adding to this world-class experience, hunter and adventurer Christian Craighead—one of the most highly decorated members of the British Army’s elite 22 SAS—will be joining the Ikamela team to bring his unmatched experience and leadership to the field. Born in the northeast of England, Christian forged a 28-year career in military service, including 13 operational deployments and over 1,000 high-risk missions. He was wounded in action in Afghanistan and earned international acclaim after his heroic one-man hostage rescue mission during the 2019 terrorist attack in Kenya, saving more than 700 lives and receiving personal recognition from President Donald J. Trump. Now based in Texas, Christian applies the same discipline, humility, and respect for nature that defined his military career to every hunt, embodying the spirit of courage and self-reliance that drives true sportsmen.
