Hosted by the prestigious Shaw & Hunter Ltd., established in 1921, this experience offers a rare opportunity to pursue one of Africa’s most iconic and formidable game animals in a breathtaking wilderness setting. Your journey begins with arrival in Dar es Salaam, where you will be greeted and transferred to your overnight stay at Seacliff in Dar. The following morning, you will transfer to your flight to Dodoma, where you will be met and transferred via road to Lunda Nkwambi (approximately a 3-hour drive). From there, settle into a classic East African tented safari camp that blends comfort with authenticity. Days will be spent tracking the legendary “dagga boys” across sweeping floodplains, riverine thickets, and miombo woodlands, guided by highly skilled professional hunters and expert trackers who bring deep knowledge of the terrain and its wildlife.
