Originally a 297-230 Cartridge, now rechambered to .22 Hornet.
The receiver is engraved with a star pattern. there is engraving on the lever and the bolt.
Retains the original sights.
This is the takedown Model with a 26" Barrel. The bore has prominent rifling with some light frosting. The trigger guard serial number does not match the rifle.
The stock is fancy walnut with checkering & a Horn forend tip. There are some light scratches and dents in the wood. See photos.
The blueing has faded to a grey/brown patina.
This Rifle has a Reserve.
