WILDLIFE BRONZE ARTIST
Frank Entsminger
P: 907.883.2833
E: bronzeart@aptalaska.net
W: wildernesscreations.com
DONATION: Frank and Sue traveled to New Zealand in February 2024 to put a check on their bucket list. They had met a hunting guide friend years before, Rachel Stewart, Leithen Valley Hunts. Leithen Valley is a family-owned and operated.
Rachel invited them to come by while they were in New Zealand. They weren't really interested in hunting, but were interested in experiencing New Zealand. Of course, while they were there, Rachel talked Sue into shooting a fallow deer. They had a great time at Leithen Valley Lodge, which has thousands of red stags on the property. They travelled over tens of thousands of acres where they observed many stags and saw successful hunters.
Rachel wanted a nice tabletop bronze—one small enough to move from place to place. Frank was inspired to do this for Rachel. He had so many photos from Leithen Valley staff, along with tons of others. Once Frank started, Sue would send pictures for critique back and forth with Rachel.
Over the next several months, Frank worked on the piece with Sue’s help and finally sent it to the foundry for casting in November 2024.
VALUE: $4,500
