NATIONAL BLANK BOOK CO. SPRINGFIELD 1903 MAGAZINE. 1) German WWI Gewehr 98 25-rd. extended mag. Right side of mag. body is stamped with maker's mark "W/ Co/ DRP", with mag. otherwise being devoid of any proofing. Steel construction with black enamel type finish. Follower is unmarked. Complete with later production Mauser Eagle/WaA63 proofed trigger guard assembly. CONDITION: mags. retains the majority of its original black enamel type finish, showing scattered spots of wear, flaking, and handling marks that show through to gray patina. Trigger guard retains the majority of its reapplied black enamel finish, showing spots of pitting beneath the finish. 2) Possibly reproduction 25-rd. mag. extension mfg. for the Springfield Model 1903 rifle by National Blank Book Co. Left side of the mag. body is stamped with an eagle head over "X31" on the bottom left corner, with an eagle head over "X32" marked in the bottom right corner. Steel construction with dull blue finish. Complete with follower. CONDITION: very good, with some light edge wear and scattered superficial handling marks. (02-24536-13/MLW) NON-GUN. $600-1,000.
