Sikh marked Indian sword, 29"curved blade, black leather wrapped handle, acid etched "MADE IN INDIA" and with Sikh symbol and Hindi script on blade. 3.) Indian sword with scabbard, 32.25" blade, black leather wrapped handle, acid etched "MADE IN INDIA" with Hindi script and floral motifs on blade. 4.) Sword made from British Martindale machete blade, 23.5" blade, cast brass eagle head pommel. 5.) Sword made from British Martindale machete blade, 23.5"blade, cast brass eagle head pommel with cobra decorated hilt. 6.) Indian made cavalry saber with scabbard, 33.5" curved single edged blade, brass snake head pommel, with bow shaped hilt, and wire wrapped wooden handle. Blade is unmarked and has been polished bright. 7.) Indian sword with scabbard, 34" curved blade, wire wrapped leather handle, acid etched "MADE IN INDIA" with Hindi script and floral motifs on blade. 8.) Indian short sword, 21.25" blade, wire wrapped leather handle, acid etched "MADE IN INDIA" with Hindi script on blade. 9.) Indian short sword, 21.25" blade, wire wrapped leather handle, acid etched "MADE IN INDIA" with Hindi script on blade. Conditions range from fair to very good, showing varying degrees of age and wear, some with spots of light rust. A few of handles and guards fit loosely. Est.: $200-$400/lot.
