Lot of Two (2) Romanian UMC Cugir Bolt Action Single Shot .22 LR Training Rifles. 1.) #1954-04426, .22 LR cal., 27.75" barrel, blue finish, smooth hardwood one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivel studs, no bolt, missing the front sight, no rear sight with a sighting rail machined into the barrel at the rear. Import marked on the underside of the barrel. Mfgd 1954. Rifle is in good condition, retaining considerable thinning blue finish, with scattered areas of surface erosion. Front trigger guard screw is missing. Stock is in fair condition, showing heavy use. Buttstock is missing the buttplate and ends with bare wood. Bore is fair with moderate erosion and visible rifling. 2.) #1956-14319, .22 LR cal., 27.75" barrel, blue finish, smooth hardwood one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivel studs, ramped blade front sight, adjustable "U"-notch rear sight in a sighting rail milled into the barrel. Import marked on the underside of the barrel. Mfgd 1956. Rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining approx. 90%-95% thinning finish, with scattered spots of light corrosion along the barrel. Stock is in good condition with indentations and scrapes, including numerous mars along the barrel channel. Action functions smoothly and locks up securely.
