Dutch M95 No.4 Mannlicher Bolt Action Carbine, #1965P, 6.5x53Rmm cal., 18" barrel, blued finish with bright bolt body, hardwood stock and handguard, dovetailed inverted-"V" front sight, and adjustable rear sight with "V"-notched groove, graduated to 2000 meters. Left side receiver rail is marked "STEYR 1897" with a crowned inspection stamp on top of the receiver ring. There is a faint "(crown)W" stamp on right side of the buttstock. Matching numbers. No visible import marks. Condition overall near excellent as refinished, retaining approx. 95% blue, showing mild toning. Bolt handle has been polished bright. Wood has been sanded and stained, now in very good condition, with areas of handling marks and impressions. Forend channel for a folding bayonet has been filled in with wood putty. Action functions well. Bright bore rates very good, with defined rifling. Est.: $200-$300. (C&R)
