Argentine Model 1891 Mauser Bolt Action Carbine, #B5432, 7.65x53mm cal., 17.75" barrel, blued finish with bright bolt assembly, hardwood stock and handguard, inverted-"V" front sight with protectors, and adjustable folding leaf rear sight with "V"-notched groove and battle sight, graduated to 1400 meters. Top of the receiver ring is marked with "(Argentine crest)" and left side receiver rail is marked "MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1891/DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN/BERLIN". Matching numbered barrel, no number on bolt handle. No visible import marks. Condition overall is good, retaining approx. 60%-65% toning blue, showing general wear from service use. There is dark toning to the cocking piece. Wood is good, finish is dark, with dents and scratches, and a few small chips adjacent the buttplate. Action functions well.
