Deutsche Werke Ortgies Semi-Automatic Pistol, #251584, .32 ACP cal., 3.5" barrel, blued finish, smooth hardwood grips with round brass inserts depicting the "Crouched Cat" Deutsche Werke logo on each side, blade front sight, and fixed rear sight with "U"-notched groove. Includes one bright steel magazine with factory logo and "CAL.7,65". Left side of the slide is marked "DEUTSCHE WERKE/(logo)/WERK ERFURT" and the right side "ORTGIESPATENT". Barrel at the ejection port is stamped "CAL.7,65 mm". There are "(crown)N" stamps on the frame, slide, and barrel. Marked "GERMANY" on the frame. Condition overall is good, retaining 70%-75% blue, showing handling marks and dark toning to the slide; scattered spots of patina to the frame, slide, and trigger. Right side grip shows moderate age and handling wear, with more blemishes and a chip to the left grip. Slide operates smoothly but the pistol does not appear functional and the safety button will not engage or release. Bright bore rates very good, with clearly defined rifling. Est.: $150-$300.
