Antique Colt New Pocket Double Action Revolver, #992, .32 Colt cal., 2.5" barrel, nickel finish with nitre blue trigger, hammer and securing screws, two-piece pearl grips, fixed blade front sight, and fixed sighting notch on the frames top strap. Left side of the barrel is marked "COLT. D.A. 32". Left side of the frame with Rampant Colt surrounded by "COLTS" and "NEW POCKET". Top of the barrel is marked in three-lines with Colts information and patent dates. Mfgd 1894. Overall condition is very good, retaining approx. 45% original finish, with the balance gone to an even gray patina, with areas of mild pitting. Nitre bluing is strong and may have been redone. There is an old chip missing from the right grip at the bottom front corner. Otherwise, both show typical signs of age. Factory lettering is clear. Action functions well. Bore with a few areas of very mild erosion, rifling is very good. Est.: $300-$500. (Antique)
