Smith & Wesson K-38 Combat Masterpiece (Pre-Model 15) Double Action Revolver, #K257276, .38 Spl. cal., 4" pinned barrel, bright blue finish, diamond center checkered walnut two-piece Magna grips with S&W medallions, Baughman ramped blade front sight, adjustable micrometer click square-notch rear sight, color case hardened hammer and factory ribbed trigger. All matching visible serial numbers. Mfgd 1956. Revolver is in excellent overall condition, retaining approx. 97%-98% factory finish, with light wear at the muzzle and minor handling marks. Leading edge of the cylinder shows minor wear and a faint index line at the rear. Factory markings are crisp. Grips are excellent with sharp checkering detail, matching serial number is stamped in the interior of the right panel. Action functions well and locks up securely.
