Large of Three (3) Circa Early 1900s Metal Gunpowder Storage Containers: 1.) Green painted ribbed metal measures 9.5" tall, 8" in diameter, and approx. 25" around the center. The 5.5" diameter paper advertising label on top of the lid reads "KENTUCKY RIFLE GUN POWDER CO. Manufactured at Hazards_____ con by the HAZARD POWDER CO.". With 3" partial advertising label on the other end that reads "HAZARDS GUNPOWDER". Overall condition is fair to near good. 2.) Red painted ribbed metal, 7" tall, 6.5" in diameter, and approx. 20" around the center. With one partially visible color advertising label on top of the lid that appears to identify it as a Hazards Gun Powder product. Overall condition is fair. 3.) Black painted ribbed metal, 7.75" tall, 6.5" in diameter, and approx. 20.5" around the center. With one visible fine condition color advertising label on top of the lid proclaiming "QUICK, CLEAN, STRONG, LIGHT SMOKE.- KINGS TRADE MARK FFG QUICK SHOT AN IMPROVED BLACK POWDER FOR RIFLES & SHOTGUNS. MANUFACTURED BY THE KING POWDER COL., CINCINNATI, O. U.S.A.". Overall condition of this container is fine. All appear to be from circa early 1900s and are empty. Est.: $250-$400/lot.
