Smith & Wesson 44 Double Action Top-Break First Model Revolver, #6191, .44 S&W Russian cal., 6" barrel, matte black/blued finish, with checkered black gutta percha style factory grips. Mfgd circa early 1880s. Overall condition is good. Markings are sharp. Grips with even wear, mostly to the right grip panel. Action rotates the cylinder properly but does not stay in full cock independently. Bore is very good with scattered light spots of erosion. Est.: $700-$900. (Antique)
