WWII Spreewerk cyq P.38 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #2374I, 9mm cal., 4.9" barrel, blued finish, grooved Bakelite grips (dark red on left side, black on right side), dovetailed blade front sight, and "U"-notched rear sight. Includes on blued magazine, marked on the spine "(eagle)88". Pistol is marked "P.38/cyq" on left side of the slide; right side with two "(eagle)88" proofs and partially visible Nazi eagle firing proof. There is an additional "(eagle)88" and Soviet capture "X" stamped on left side of the frame. Matching numbers. Small import mark on the front grip strap. Condition overall is fine as refurbished, retaining approx. 97% reblued finish, showing some light scratching and handling marks. There are a few small impact marks to the bolt face. Right grip shows moderate+ handling wear, left grip with a few larger chips and marks. Action operates smoothly and the hammer drop functions properly.
