French S.A.C.M. Model 1935A Semi-Automatic Pistol, B81320A, 7.65 mm Long cal., 4.3" barrel, gray parkerized finish with an overlay of black enamel paint, checkered plastic two-piece grips, dovetailed blade front sight, fixed square-notch rear sight, lanyard loop, with one 8-round magazine. Magazine base is marked "35". No visible import mark. Pistol is in near fine overall condition, retaining approx. 90%-92% of the black enamel finish, with holster wear, scratches, and scrapes along the frame and slide. A previous owner has etched their social security # down the backstrap. Grips with sharp checkering and scattered light handling marks. Action functions well. Bore is very good with light frosting and well-defined rifling. Manufactured from 1935-1945, the model 1935A was used by French troops in WWII and later in Indochina from 1945-1954. Est.: $250-$400.
