Remington Model 8 Semi-Automatic Rifle, #57110, .30 Rem. cal., 22" barrel, blue finish, smooth walnut straight grip stock and forend, Marble marked Sheard brass tipped blade front and semi-buckhorn rear sights, with a fixed 5-round box magazine. Stock ends with a ribbed steel buttplate, providing a 13.6" LOP. Mfgd 1928. Rifle is in very good overall condition, retaining approx. 85%-90% thinning factory finish with scattered scratches, handling marks, and edge wear. Scratches are most noticeable on left side of the receiver. Stock is also very good, with scattered dents, scratches, and some flaking to the finish. Action functions well.
