British Proofed Mauser C96 Broomhandle Semi-Automatic Pistol, #4361, 7.63x25mm cal., 5.5" barrel, blue finish, grooved walnut grips, inverted-"V" fixed front sight, and tangent rear sight adjustable from 50-500 meters. Backstrap is cut for a shoulder stock. With trigger shoe. All visible numbers matching. Top chamber flat is marked "WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER / OBERNDORF A/N". Left side of receiver with " (crown) (crown)U" proof mark; right side with a crowned gothic letter and "NOT ENGLISH MAKE". Right side of the barrel with British proof marks. Right side of the frame is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER / OBERNDORF A. NECKAR". "NS" marked hammer. No import marks. Condition is very good, retaining approx. 80%-85% thinning and toning blue, showing general light marks from handling and use, as well as a longer scratch to both sides of the frame. Factory lettering is clear. Grips show normal signs of age and wear, with scattered dents and scratches. Action operates smoothly.
